So far we have received 0.7 inches today! That is huge for our area. We are currently going through the worst drought on record. There are strict outdoor water bans in our county, and they are talking about possibly putting us on rations starting at the end on November, it is that bad.But today we are getting some rain!
Here is a map of the current drought areas in the U.S., and as you can see Athens falls into the Exceptional Drought category, well past the Extreme.
