Freezing
The Arctic Vortex brought temperatures in the teens and a high of only 23 today (1/7).

Red-Headed Woodpecker
Saw a Red-Headed woodpecker Sunday morning (1/5). Looked like it was defending a cavity that Red-Bellied Woodpeckers have used as a nesting cavity in the past. Unusual to see them here so early.
