Chimney Swifts

We have had swifts in the neighborhood since last week, but no swifts in our chimney yet. We did scare off a raccoon from the chimney last night (the third one this year!).

Our first Ruby-throated Hummingbird of the season showed up yesterday afternoon in the front yard. It was attracted to the Lonicera sempervirens vine on our mailbox.
