Red-Headed Woodpecker

Saw a Red-Headed woodpecker Sunday morning (1/5). Looked like it was defending a cavity that Red-Bellied Woodpeckers have used as a nesting cavity in the past. Unusual to see them here so early.

Pond Update

Cleaned out about half of the leaves from the pond. The tadpoles are hibernating, hope they make it through the winter.
