It was a surprise because they were late in arriving and we did not hear much out of them. Incubation usually lasts about 19 days so we should here some little peeps by June 29 or earlier!

The swifts are nesting!
Looked down the chimney this afternoon when installing bird spikes on the roof (to keep the raccoons out) and saw something like this:

Chimney Swifts
Yesterday was International Migratory Bird Day.
Rua working the Chimney Watch Booth:
It was also the day our chimney hosted swifts again! Tonight we will count them as they go to roost to see how many we have.
